WWII Era 48 Star Flag
Unusual 48 Star Flag from the WWII era. Called a Victory Flag. Made of printed cotton fabric with sewn edges. Attached to the original stick with a gold topper. Great starter flag for the new collector. The 48th State was voted into the Union by Congress on February 14th 1912 (Arizona) Seven Presidents served under the 48 Star Flag. Which was used from 1912 to 1959, 47 years. It served through three wars, WWI, WWII & The Korean War.
