Vintage UCV Flag.  Made of oil cloth. 11″x17 CIRCA 1900-1920 ERA RARE FABIC

Oil cloth was a early material used in making parade flags.

UCV United Confederate Veterans as service group formed after the war to mainly help destitute Confederate Civil War veterans. They held local, State and National events to help heal and for fellowship. Later in years the Union Veterans and Southern Veterans held joint re-unions. It ended with the last war veterans passing away in the 1950’s
