Rare WWII PDI B-17 & B-24 Gauge

 This was a Top Secret Bomber PDI Gauge Pilot Deviation Indicator This is a original authentic WWII cockpit instrument panel Gauge as used in the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress & B-24 Liberators during WWII. PDI stands for Pilot Deviation Indicator. The PDI was used by the pilot, co-pilot & bombardier to navigate to the bomb drop target thru the Nordon Bomb Sight. It was used in conjunction with the planes autopilot, which in most cases did not work properly or failed.  The plane & indicator must be held on the “O” to stay on target.
