A very rare patriotic hand colored soldiers art. Drawn by Union soldier Nehemiah P. Palmer whose name is affixed to the back, he was a New York Cavalryman. The art features a Federal style eagle over a Federal shield with two large stars and a scrolls. It is archivally framed in a stunning black Civil War era wood frame. A great piece of Americana.
