The square outer ring has 24 Stars, the inner ring has 13 Stars with a large center star that is tilted. The fabric is an unusual material which appears to be a linen woven type of wool. The staff has a incredible hand carved wood spear shaped topper. Overall the flag has a great glow and wonderful appeal. Frame outer size is 45″ wide 50″ high. Circa 1876 Ulysses S.
