Rare authentic antique 30 Star US American Flag from 1848 when Wisconsin became the 30th State. James K. Polk was President 1845-1849 The flag is made of fine linen cloth. Printed by stenciling. It was originally attached to a stick. The star arrangement is call a “medallion” but the center star is outlined and this feature is called a “Halo”. Flags with the halo pattern are fairly rare and highly desirable by collectors and designers. It has premium conservation framing with UV acrylic.
