Wonderful looking rare 29 Star flag with a rare “Medallion” star pattern. Framed in a period antique wood frame with gilt paint trim. Wavy bubble glass. Stenciled by hand on to starched gauze fabric. Has tilted arranged stars. The name C.B. Doan is written on the flag. The 29 Star Flag was voted into the Union on December 28th 1846 Iowa. And was used till July 3rd 1848. James K.
