Very rare Presidential night parade campaign lantern made of paper. It has an incredible array of patriotic symbols and images on each panel. One is for President Benjamin Harrison and the other is for his Vice-President Levi Morton from the 1888 Presidential campaign. The paper lantern would have been fastened to a wire frame on a pole or sturdy stick. Candles were placed inside and the lantern would be illuminated for the night parade.
