A beautiful hand sewn & treadle sewn embroidered antique silk Louisiana State Flag with fringe. Came out of a UCV (United Confederate Veterans) Post. Circa 1890 to 1910 This is the type of “Battle” flag that Civil War units would take into battle along with the National Flag. The North and South did the same thing with regards to State Flags.
