Antique Hand Made Federal Eagle

Authentic antique early Federal Eagle made of chalk ware and wood. The chalk parts were made and formed from hand carved wooden molds by experienced craftsmen. This is how most fireplace mantle ornamentation and early crown molding was made. In as found condition. It’s a miracle it has survived Appears to be original paint. Mounted on a museum stand.
Circa 1820-1850 11″ wide 8″ high 1-.5″ high on the base.
