Antique 39 Star American Flag Circa 1890

Rare antique 39 star American Flag. Rare for two reasons. #1 the 39 Star flag was not official and very few were made. #2  this flag has the stars arranged in straight rows vertically were is not the normal way they are positioned. Usually they are in straight rows horizontally. Made of starched  linen, faded somewhat but still has a fabulous hue of color throughout . Flag is 15’x24″ the frame is 27″x38″ Museum framing
