13 STAR FLAG WITH MEDALLION PATTERN

Authentic antique 13 Star Flag with museum framing and UV acrylic. The flags stars are arranged in a circle that is called a medallion. The flag dates to around 1870 to 1890. It is made of lined, has a canvas hoist with zinc grommets. The stripes are single line hand treadle sewn. As seen from the photos the flag has a few condition issues with fading and loss of material in several areas. Great looking flag with lots of character.
