13 Star American Flag Framed Antique

13 Star American Flag Framed Antique. Made of wool with a canvas hoist, it has two brass grommets on the hoist. The stars are early machine sewn. The stripes are single line treadle sewn. It has a number of smaller holes in several place and has some brownish stains. The overall appearance of the flag is that it well used and worn buy still has a warm glow to it with lots of character. Circa 1870-1890.
