This is a very rare 32 Star silk hankerchief from the entry of the 32nd State Minnesota in 1858. Voted into the Union on May 11, 1858 and becoming a State on July 4th 1858. Extremely high quality of fine silk with hand sewn gold stars on gold silk background. A true work of art. The quality on this is so high I cant believe they made very many. In my opinion I believe this to be made for a high State official ie; Governor, Congressman or Senator to remember this occasion.
