45 STAR FLAG ANTIQUE. Authentic antique 45 Star Flag from the Spanish American War era time period. The flag is still on the original stick. The topper appears to be hand carved. It has spinning stars and is made of a starched linen fabric. Lots of age wear and use on this beautiful flag. Circa 1896. The 45 star flag used during the Spanish American War made famous by Teddy Roosevelt & the rough riders. Used from 1896 to 1908 Grover Cleveland, William McKinley & teddy Roosevelt were Presidents during this period of American history.
