Rare Authentic vintage canvas Army Air Corp bi-plane airplane fuselage insignia logo.

This canvas insignia was part of the canvas fabric that covered the bi-planes wing and fuselage.

There are several bolt holes visible in the fabric. You can easily see the individual sections of fabric sewn together to make the insignia. 

The black on the logo is actually carbon from the bi-planes engine exhaust.

There is a name inscribed on the back of the fabric, it is assumed it is the pilots name that flew the plane.

Army Air Corp insignia logs such as this one are extremely rare as the planes were scrapped as they crashed or became obsolete.
