Scarce authentic antique 41 Star Flag. On July 4th 1890 five States became official States at one time. We went from 38 States to 43 States then Congress added the 44th States a few weeks later so flag makers of the day were certainly not going to make flags with out of date star counts. Because of this 41 star flags are almost impossible to find if you can ever find one at all. Made of an unusual cotton weave. It has sewn edges and a sleeve hoist.
