42 Star Flag 1890 Sweetheart Army Veteran Keepsake

Antique silk sweetheart pouch made by the wife or girlfriend and given to the soldier going off to war. Letters and other personal items were kept in the pouch which opens up. Brass engineers insignia on front along with a red white & blue hat cord.
