Description
An extremely rare parade flag with 35 stars. The stars are arranged in circles called a “Medallion Pattern” but this flag also has the center star with a “Halo” around it, making it a Halo flag. Without the halo it would be called a Great Star Flag. Made of a fabric that is similar to oil cloth or a light weight canvas which is very unusual. Dates from 1863 to 1865 the height of the Civil War. Abraham Lincoln was President during this period. For the serious collector. Great looking flag with very rare star pattern.
