A charactization oil painting of the two famous sunjects produced for a poster.
The poster is at The FDR Presidential Museum.

King George VI & Queen Elizabeth visited Canada & The United States in May-June 1939

The artist, N.Levy was an accomplished artist and supplemented his income by painting charactures of famous subjects of which he then produced posters which he sold.

Rare & Important 1865 Lincoln Lithograph

"LINCOLNS LAST RECEPTION"
By Anton Hohenstein Artist C-1823

Abraham Lincoln & Mary Todd Lincoln second Inaugural reception painted by Hohenstein in 1865.
A hand colored lithograph by Hohenstein & signed by him.
Featuring The President & Mary greeting Union Generals, his Cabinet Members and dignatories.

Published by John Smith 1865

Only two other known copies...One is in the Library of Congress which has a corner torn off and the other known copy hangs in the Lincoln Bedroom in the White House, placed there by Mrs. John F. Kennedy when she refurbished the White House. It is thought to be her favorite piece of art in the White House.

A very rare & important piece of history.

Condition: It has been conserved by a conservator and mounted to a new canvas on a new streacher. The original gilt frame is available, but is in rough condition. It has been placed in a new wood frame with a Civil War period look under UV acrylic. The lithograph has a dark heavy coat of varnish which cannot be removed. The varnish and lithograph has a number of cracks throughout but is in stable condition. The piece looks darker in person than it does in the photograph.

If you are a serious Lincoln Collector, this rare piece is a must as you most likely will never run across one of these again.

Drawn by Union soldier Nehemiah P. Palmer whose name is affixed to the back, he was a New York Cavalryman.
The art features a Federal style eagle over a Federal shield with two large stars and a scrolls.
It is archivally framed in a stunning black Civil War era wood frame.

Dated 1859 Declaration Of Independence

A very rare authentic antique period lithograph on heavy stock of The Declaration of Independence along with images of the First 15 Presidents.
It is mounted on canvas conserved by conservator.
Typical heavy varnish which they did back then to make lithographs to look like a old painting.
It does have numerous cracks but again this is typical for a document this old.
